Skybound Wants Telltale Staff to Return for The Walking Dead Season Finale
The company's CEO hopes to finish the games with a staff made up entirely of ex-Telltale employees. 10.22.18 - 12:11 AM By now, you've no doubt heard about the shuttering of Telltale Games, which left hundreds of people unemployed, brought legal action upon those responsible, and prematurely ended The Walking Dead video game franchise. It was recently reported that Skybound Games, a division of the comic book publisher for The Walking Dead, would be stepping in to finish the final season, and now it appears that the company is hoping to bring back some of Telltale's staff to do it. According to Skybound CEO Ian Howe during an AMA on Reddit, "the plan is for it to be staffed 100% by former Telltale staff." According to Howe, he has been in touch with "most, if not all" of the former Walking Dead team, and hopes to have a staff entirely made up of ex-Telltale employees on hand to finish The Walking Dead's final episodes. Of course, whether or not they will want to is up in the air, as is the shape or form the finale of The Walking Dead takes.
