Howdy, all!

I should tell you up front that my ambition as a small child was to grow up to be a Pokémon Master. This should tell you a lot about my formative gaming habits! Since then, I became enamored with the RPG genre, as I got to meet new characters, explore interesting worlds, and learn the ins and outs of different combat systems. Needless to say, I'm still an unapologetic RPG gamer, and will talk the ear off anybody who cares to listen to me on the subject. I also enjoy movies and various musical genres, and may in fact be one of the spooniest bards you'll ever meet.

I graduated from Aquinas College in 2016, emerging with a degree in English and only slightly frayed sanity. My abiding interest in fantasy literature (A Song of Ice and Fire, Lord of the Rings, The First Law, and the Dresden Files being personal favorites) was what led to me trying my hand at writing, but I have also found myself interested in games journalism, with sites such as RPGFan providing a lot of inspiration and guidance for my own writing style. I currently serve as manager of the News department here at RPGFan, and am constantly amazed and humbled by our excellent staff and the work they put in.
