Another month, another Ys VIII PC port delay.
01.21.18 - 11:32 AM

Well, I know what game I won't be playing for some time...again. I am ok with waiting for things, but this is a bit excessive for a simple port. Hopefully, they make it up to the PC players down the road. This week we have news stories from Mike Salbato and Peter Triezenberg, a review from Nathan Lee, and more of our continuing Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary feature.

Story by Peter Triezenberg

Yeah, it's disappointing to see this get delayed again for PC. I guess all good things come in time, but this is a little much for one port of the game. Oh well, thankfully there are a bunch of other games to satisfy me until then, if it ever comes out. NISA just needs to get their act together.

As much as I am hyped about seeing a Kefka battle in FFXIV, I am going to be very salty if they don't let me suplex the damn Phantom Train in this new patch. I mean, come on, you know everyone under the sun wants this to happen. In fact, it needs to happen! And if it doesn't I will never play this game again. Ok, maybe I won't go that far, but I still want this!

We are so close to the end of the Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary feature, but fear not, we still got some left in the tank. This week we have the additions of Memorias for Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Final Fantasy Legend, as well as a feature by Robert Fenner on why every new Final Fantasy game will never be like the ones of days past.

Review by Nathan Lee

I have never played a Neptunia Game, and I probably never will, but Nathan Lee is an expert on the series and has all the answers you need. Check out his review of Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online to see if this entry into the series is what you have been looking for.

Well, here is the definitive edition of Final Fantasy XV, or is it? I mean, can we really call it a definitive edition if we know more DLC is coming? The Royal Edition is certainly the best version of the game you can buy at the moment, but something tells me there is going to be another version of the game sometime in the future. I hope somehow I am wrong.

Review by Rob Rogan

We come to the end of another Telltale Games adventure. Rob's impressions of Telltale's take on Guardians of the Galaxy varied across the first four episodes, and with the finale upon us, he looks into whether the conclusion was worth building up to... or the other thing.
