Pokemon isn't the only RPG that's hitting the big 2 0, you know.

You know what series we haven't heard from in a while? Wild Arms, Media Vision's beloved western-themed RPG franchise. We recently heard that Wild Arms 3 would be making its way to the PlayStation 4, but seeing as 2016 marks the series' 20th anniversary, series creator Akifumi Kaneko tweeted something about a meeting regarding the series with Sony.
"So. I'm back from the Wild Arms meeting. Participants included myself, (series composer) Naruke, SCE producer Motomura, and promotion's Nishijima, who everybody loves. Tonight, we emphasized that 'this year, it's the series's 20th anniversary!' It's cold outside, but we were undoubtedly hot." This is interesting, because last January, Kaneko also said that he "intends to keep the flame alive" for Wild Arms and is "working on something from the shadows," along with expressing gratitude towards Wild Arms fans.
