Wild Arms 3 and Okage: Shadow King Among Trademarks for PS4
More classic PS2 RPGs may be on their way. 01.03.16 - 3:04 PM Having recently released the excellent Dark Cloud and Rogue Galaxy for the PlayStation Network on PS4, Sony seems to preparing the next wave of PS2 classics to be remastered. Those titles came with HD visuals and full trophy support, and now two more notable RPGs have seen ESRB trademarks for Sony's console — Wild Arms 3 and Okage: Shadow King. Of these, Wild Arms 3 probably needs the least introduction, being the third entry in Media Vision's well-regarded Western-themed RPG series. Okage: Shadow King is an interesting title in its own right, being developed by Zener Works and Sony Computer Entertainment for the PS2 in 2001, and features gameplay in which protagonist Ari collaborates with his shadow, Stan. Other titles that received trademarks include survival-horror classic Siren, but we're focused on the RPGs here. If you're curious what we thought of these older titles in days of yore, or would like to peruse some further media, we have links to our reviews and galleries for you below. And as long as I'm here... what other PS2 classics can we expect to see on PS4? .hack? Shadow Hearts? Digital Devil Saga? Take notes, Sony, there'll be a quiz later.
