Hello, dear readers, and welcome to the latest installment of Coming This Week with RPGFan. Things have quieted down a bit as we approach the sales-pocalypse that is Black Friday. To all of our brave retail workers who might be reading this, we salute you! Now, let's get into notable games coming out.
Where's Dale Cooper when you need him? Is it too soon to be making Twin Peaks jokes? Regardless, Pine is an open-world adventure game that saw a Windows, Mac, and Linux release earlier this year. Now, the game is on its way to the Nintendo Switch. Players must explore the mysterious island of Albamare while influencing its development dynamically.
Decay of Logos was originally set to drop for the Nintendo Switch back in August, but had to be delayed so that Rising Star Games could further polish it up. The game has since come out on other platforms, and will finally be coming to the Switch on the 28th. For real. We promise. Hopefully. We'll let you know otherwise?
Where the Water Tastes Like Wine was one of the most fascinating titles I saw at the last E3 I attended, offering a lovely, unique art style and a poignant look at American folklore and the culture of storytelling. Now, the game is set to make its console debut, making camp on the Switch, PS4, and Xbox One this Friday (Editor's note: Don't miss out on that fantastic Ryan Ike soundtrack.) You can read our review by the stunning Alana Hagues if you'd like to know more!
And that'll about do it! For all you Americans celebrating, have a happy Thanksgiving. For everyone, stay beautiful, and stay tuned to RPGFan for the latest and greatest RPG coverage. We'll see you next time!
