As reported last month, the mobile Ni no Kuni game made its debut at the G-Star 2019 event in Busan, South Korea. And what a debut!

Titled Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, check out the premiere trailer below:

The mobile MMORPG is being developed by Netmarble using Unreal Engine 4. The team working on the game developed Lineage 2: Revolution. The game will be a hack-n-slash RPG where players of various classes team together or fight each other.

People attending G-Star 2019 were able to try out the game's five different classes: Rogue, Destroyer, Witch, Engineer, and Swordsman.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds

The Rogue is a quick bow user that can pierce enemies with their attacks but also support their friends with buffs.

If you are more of a physical fighter, the Destroyer is a tank class that wields a mighty hammer.

However, if you want more of a mix, the Witch wields a floating spear and possesses a variety of skills, debuff attacks, and more.

If a healer is more your style, the Engineer heals their allies while shooting at enemies from a long distance.

Lastly, the Swordsman - who looks suspiciously like Howl from Howl's Moving Castle - is a tanker and support class.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds brings back the best elements of both previous games in the series. For instance, Familiars are back from the original game! Over 100 familiars will be available to players, each with their own personality, traits, and method of combat.

A large feature of Ni no Kuni 2, Kingdom building, is also back, but with some community elements to spice things up! Just like with Ni no Kuni 2, build various buildings, recruit guild members, and level up your kingdom to make it grow! Your goal is to become a Capital City! However, all players are tasked with this goal, so be prepared to go to war with other kingdoms! If you are victorious, the Capital City dictates various events that can influence other players! Furthermore, players can interact with each other through moving various objects throughout their kingdoms and that of their rivals. You can even steal lambs from a neighboring kingdom!

Lastly, Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds does offer a plot. As a beta tester for a game called "Project N," you get thrown into an epic battle between the monster army led by Levant and the Nameless Kingdom led by Queen Shia. When the odds don't look to be in Queen Shia's favor, she throws the protagonist and a fairy name Kuu into a portal that transports them to the Kingdom of Evermore. Your duty is to save the queen and the Nameless Kingdom! However, this no longer seems to be a game world created by the Mirai Company in Ichi no Kuni. This appears to be a parallel world, the world of Ni no Kuni.
