Hello, dear readers, and welcome back for a new installment of Coming This Week! Hallow's Eve has come and gone, and the turkey season is fast approaching. That's not an excuse to get out your Christmas trees, folks! Let's have a little restraint, please. In any case, while everyone else is out hanging out with Norman Reedus and his funky fetus, we have RPGs and visual novels to talk about. Let's jump in.

Conception Plus Screenshot

Conception Plus: Maidens of the Twelve Stars - November 5th (PS4, Windows)

See, Hideo Kojima, we don't need your baby delivery service game, we brought our own! With hookers and blackjack! Kidding aside, Conception Plus is an enhanced re-release of the original Conception title, coming to PS4 and Windows PCs courtesy of Spike Chunsoft. In it, players will battle against the forces of evil by conceiving special "star children" with their prospective partners. If that kind of thing sounds like your cup of tea, well, be sure to give Conception Plus a whirl on November 5th.

Tokyo Dark Screenshot

Tokyo Dark - Remembrance - November 7th (Switch)

Okay, this one is a repeat: Tokyo Dark was originally supposed to come out last week for Switch, but wound up getting pushed back a week. Whoops! Anyway, in case you missed our write-up last time, Tokyo Dark is an adventure game originally released as part of the Square Enix Collective, and developed by Cherrymochi. Players will utilize the game's unique S.P.I.N. system and step into the shoes of one Detective Ito as they attempt to unravel the game's many mysteries.

The Grisaia Trilogy - November 7th (Switch)

The Grisaia games are widely regarded as some of the finest visual novels on the market: just ask RPGFan genre expert Dom Kim, who reviewed The Fruit of Grisaia, The Labyrinth of Grisaia, and The Eden of Grisaia a while back. In a surprising (but welcome) turn of events, all three games are headed to the Switch as one collection, along with a massive helping of bonus content and additional side stories to sate even the most hardcore fans of this series. The Grisaia Trilogy will launch for Switch on November 7th!

Layton's Mystery Journey Screenshot

Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy - Deluxe Edition - November 8th (Switch)

Finally, we have the deluxe edition of Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaire's Conspiracy. This adorable adventure title introduces players to the daughter of the eponymous professor as she sets about solving the various riddles and puzzles in her path. The game originally launched on the Nintendo 3DS and mobile in 2017: so have a look at our review for more info.

And that's all, folks! Tune in next time for more new game releases, and in the meantime, keep checking RPGFan for the best RPG coverage on the planet.
