Final Fantasy VII Remake Gets Lengthy Japanese Commercials
A 7-minute or 13-minute long cut.
The first installment of the highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII Remake is on its way early next year, and fan excitement is reaching critical mass. To celebrate the original title's storied history and hype up the Remake project, Square Enix has released a lengthy "special feature commercial" that originally aired during the "FNS 27-Hour TV: Japanese Sports are Strong!" event on Fuji TV.
The commercial, which is available in either a seven-minute long or thirteen-minute long version, tells the story of an office worker, his boss, and the boss' girlfriend bonding over their experiences with Final Fantasy VII. You can watch both versions down below.
