Bethesda Softworks has announced that a brand-new premium subscription model will be coming to their much-maligned online RPG Fallout 76. Dubbed "Fallout 1st," players who elect to sign up for the service will be treated to a bevy of new in-game features and other perks.
For the audacious... er, "low" price of $12.99 USD per month (or $99.99 USD for a year), you'll have access to private servers, get a nifty payout of 1,650 Atoms on a monthly basis, a private Scrapbox with infinite storage, a Ranger Armor costume, and some emotes. Members can add up to eight other players to their private world, or go solo. Private worlds will also be getting mod support at an undetermined future date. Fallout 1st subscribers can also take advantage of the new "Survival Tent" feature to set up a new base camp, complete with fast travel access, a Stash, a Sleeping Bag, the Scrapbox, and a Cooking Station.
If all of this sounds appealing to you, you can sign up via Fallout 1st's official website. If you'd like to know what we thought of Fallout 76, be sure to read our review... oh, wait, I'm sorry, that's the wrong game! Be sure to read this review.
