A Kickstarter RPG that promises depth of player choice.

Indie French Developer Tactical Adventures have announced a new tabletop inspired SRPG called Solasta: Crown of the Magisters. Players will start their adventures in the world by choosing the race and class of four different characters, complete with rolling for stats. The developers want to mix traditional DnD mechanics (such as character creation, backstories, and the light level of certain locations) with mainstays of strategy RPGs (like using terrain to figure out encounters). Their main goal is to mix the ruleset of tabletop games with the technology of video games in a 3D environment.
Tactical Adventures plans to have a Kickstarter for the game soon. Check out a behind the scenes look with the devs, and a short animated trailer, below.
