From the Tales Of Festival 2019.

At this year's Tales Of Festival in Yokohama, Bandai Namco revealed some more information about the hero and heroine of the latest Tales game, Tales of Arise (which was announced during E3 2019). Their names are Alphen and Shionne, and you can find more info about them down below.
The man with the sick-looking flaming sword, Alphen is a warrior from the planet Dahna. At the beginning of the game, Alphen wears an iron mask and has "lost both pain and memory." His meeting with Shionne causes him to take sword in hand and fights for the planet Rena's freedom.
Meanwhile, Shionne hails from the planet Rena, and is cursed with "Thorns" that cause intense pain to whomever she touches. He reasons for travelling with Alphen are unknown, but she's rebelling against the people of her own planet.
There are also a couple more new screenshots from Tales of Arise. Gotta say, the game is looking sharp!
Tales of Arise will come out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC next year. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more info!
