Coming This Week, 6/10/19
Feeling that E3 excitement in the air.
06.10.19 - 3:50 PM

It's the most wonderful time of the year! No, not Christmas: E3! The RPGFan staff will be busily rolling out E3 content and news articles throughout the week, so keep a close eye on us. But just because there are a lot of exciting games being announced doesn't mean you should ignore what's releasing in the near future. So, without further ado, let's talk about some games that are coming this week.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition - June 11th (PS4, XB1, Windows)

On second thought, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place. You know what isn't a silly place? Kingdom Come: Deliverance! This unique RPG prided itself on a sense of "realism," with the development team going to great lengths to make their game look and feel accurate to a medieval setting. Now, Kingdom Come is getting a deluxe edition that comes packed with bonus content. If you missed it the first time, be sure to read our review from the impeccable Dave Yeager.

Dragon Star Varnir - June 11 (PS4)

Sometimes you eat the dragon, and sometimes the dragon... well, he eats you. Idea Factory has been on a roll lately with a string of surprisingly high-quality titles from The House that Neptunia Built. Now, Dragon Star Varnir offers one of their zaniest premises yet. Witches that devour dragons to absorb their power? Now that's the most JRPG thing I've ever heard. Anyway, if you want to know more, we've got a review from Zach Wilkerson that you should definitely check out.

God Wars: Future Past Screenshot

God Wars: The Complete Legend - June 14th (Windows)

We have an abundance of good strategy RPGs nowadays, but still, God Wars deserves a look if you're a fan of the genre. The Complete Legend comes packed with content, with an advertised 160 hours of total play time. Yowza! The game will be coming to Steam on the 14th, but don't worry if you already own the base game on PS4: all of the new content will be available as DLC. The lovely Audra Bowling reviewed the original, so have a look there if you're curious.

And that's a wrap! Rather short week, but hey, it is E3. As mentioned previously, we'll be covering the show throughout the week, so stay tuned to RPGFan for more and upcoming game coverage on the Interwebs. We'll see you next time!
