Square Enix Announces Star Ocean: First Departure R for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch

Square Enix has announced a high-definition remake of Star Ocean: First Departure, which will be hitting the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch worldwide in the near future. Entitled First Departure R, the game is based on the 2007 PSP version of the original Star Ocean title.

No release date was given at this time, but we'll keep you posted as we learn more.
