Kingdom Hearts III is getting a long-awaited update very soon, according to series creator Tetsuya Nomura. The game's Critical Mode difficulty setting, which was sorely missing from the base game's release, will go live tomorrow. This information comes from the official series Twitter account.

Kingdom Hearts III was criticized by some for being too easy upon release, even on the Proud Mode difficulty setting. The Critical Mode option, then, will hopefully address some of these concerns, and offer a grueling challenge for those who are looking for one.
