Moonlighter has sold 500,000 copies! The roguelite RPG, which is about a shopkeeper that moonlights (heh) as an adventurer after a portal to other dimensions appears in his village, resulted from a collaboration between Digital Sun and 11 bit studios. It has now reached a successful milestone, showing the rising popularity of indie titles across console and PC platforms. In celebration of this achievement, the game is on sale for 40% off on Steam and 33% off on the North American Nintendo eShop and will be on the European eShop on April 11th.
The developers also announced a new DLC pack, called Between Dimensions, which will make its way to players this Summer. Between Dimensions will feature new monsters in existing dungeons, a whole new interdimensional dimension with extra mini-bosses and new gear, including Trick Weapons, powerful items which harm the player as well as enemies. Moonlighter was released on PS4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and Linux on May 29, 2018, with a Nintendo Switch release on November 5, 2018.
