Development has been moved fully over to Cygames.

In a surprising turn of events, Cygames has announced that they will be assuming full development on Granblue Fantasy: Relink. This action-RPG take on the popular mobile title was originally a collaboration between Cygames and Platinum Games, but it would appear that from this point onward, Platinum is no longer involved in Relink's development. Platinum Games' logo has since been purged from the game's official website, and the game no longer appears on Platinum's website.
According to Cygames, the company will be handling "100 percent" of Granblue Fantasy: Relink's development "going forward." The company assures that they are striving to deliver a product that meets peoples' expectations. Meanwhile, from Platinum's end, they state that their contract with Cygames has come to an end, and ask that everyone continue to support the game as its production continues.
As for what this means for the future of the project... well, it's hard to say. The involvement of Platinum Games certainly turned heads when Relink was first announced, but it seems that Cygames is nevertheless dedicated to providing a quality experience now that their contract has expired.
