This is great news for Trails fans!

In case you missed it, NIS America is bringing the third installment of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel to the West. This is exciting news for Trails fans, who have had to wait patiently in between installments of these lengthy (and more importantly, wordy) games, but it does raise the question: how will the English localization compare with XSEED Games' work on the first two installments?
Well, worry not: some of the localization staff who worked on Cold Steel I & II are coming back for this one. This includes Ryan Thomson serving as a translator, Brittany Avery serving as localization producer and freelance editor, and Kris Knigge serving as an editor and consultant. All three of these individuals poured their hearts and souls into the Trails series, and it's wonderful seeing them return. Hopefully, this indicates that NIS is serious about doing the franchise justice.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III will be released in North America and Europe this Fall. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more info!
