Square Enix has released some new information on Dragon Quest Builders 2, specifically regarding the game's "Endless Battle Island." In this location, players can have the island residents assist in the construction process, creating a large fortress that can withstand an enemy assault. By making blueprints and providing the necessary materials, the NPCs will help with the building, making complex structures much easier to create. Finding materials will prove challenging, however, as this island is home to fierce blizzards that will impede the player's progress.
The player can also build magical weapons to protect their creation from the invading Hargon Order. These include the "Woosh Vacuum (which attack enemies with a large tornado)," the "Sizz Tile (burns enemies who walk over it)," and the "Zap Barrier (lets players teleport around their fortress)," which take classic Dragon Quest spells and use them to defend the homefront.
Moving on to DLC, there are two DLC add-ons. Add-on number 1, releasing in April 2019, will cost 700 yen and includes various recipes. In May 2019, Add-on number two will drop for 1200 yen, containing more recipes and various system enhancements. Stay tuned for more info.
