Sega has announced the Japanese release date for Sega Ages: Phantasy Star, the enhanced Switch port of Phantasy Star. This port includes easier play modes, a hiragana text option, a monster codex that shows the name, graphic and stats of the monster, and lists for magic, items, weapons, and more. There's also an auto-mapping feature, and a music player. All of these options can be turned off if you want to experience Phantasy Star in its purest form. Check out some screen shots of the port.
