Forklifts and dragons galore.
08.20.18 - 8:50 PM

Hello, dear readers, and welcome to the latest edition of Coming This Week. While I'm sure some of you are still recovering from last week's surprisingly hectic release schedule, there's still some neat stuff to look forward to in the coming days, including a title that I know a lot of our staff are eagerly anticipating. So, without further ado...

Shenmue I & II HD - PS4, XB1, PC (August 21st)

The Shenmue games are a formative part of the games industry in several respects. Featuring quick time events, a big world to explore, and (at the time) mind-blowing graphics, many games would walk the path that Shenmue placed, and now gamers everywhere have a chance to re-experience these classics. If you've been waiting with bated breath for Shenmue III, or are a fan of similar games like Yakuza, then this collection ought to be worth checking out.

Gone Home - Switch (August 23rd)

If your home were suddenly abandoned, everything left in its current state, what stories would it tell? This is the case with the family in Gone Home, the graphic adventure from 2013. If you've got the urge to explore and uncover some family mysteries, it will be available on the Switch later this week. Be sure to read our review of the original, as well. Maybe you'll discover something you like in this novel format.

The Low Road - Switch (August 23rd)

Maybe a game set in the 1970s about corporate espionage is more your speed and something you want to add to your Switch library? Good news! The Low Road is also releasing on the 23rd. With its nostalgic graphics and music, and some puzzle-like investigative conversation, it sounds like fun. It's a good time to pick this one up; the screenshot practically speaks for itself.

Little Dragons Café - PS4, Switch (August 24th)

Here we go. The latest game from Harvest Moon creator Yasuhiro Wada, Little Dragons Café is finally arriving on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch this week. The game looks absolutely adorable: players will explore a colorful world alongside their very own pet dragon, all while gathering resources to help run a restaurant. But don't take my word for it. We have a preview you can check out if you haven't already. There will be a full review coming shortly, so look there for more information as well.

And that's a wrap for this one, everyone. Stick around throughout the week for more RPG coverage from RPGFan... and we'll see you next time!
