The latest batch of info on Varnir of the Dragon Star has been revealed on their official website, courtesy of developer Compile Heart. Similarly to almost every website update for a Compile Heart game or major JRPG (cough Cold Steel IV cough), they are character profiles, so let's get into them.

The man known as the Emperor of the Imperial Order that governs the world, and a worshiper of the Holy Varnir. Despite having such a high title, he does not show up in public and hands down orders through his subordinates Chard and Corberia.

A powerful dragon hunter who has killed over 10,000 dragons. As the ace of Evil Raven, he finds enjoyment in fighting dragons, freedom, and running along with his subordinates. He isn't really interested in witches, though.

An experienced informant and merchant that travels around the world, selling information and goods in exchange for dragon claws, fangs, and scales, which he then sells on the black market as expensive materials. Since he does not want to lose anything before turning profit, he withholds information on the witches roost.

Varnir of the Dragon Star: Ecdysis of the Dragon will release for PS4 in Japan on October 11th. There is no word on a western release currently. Check out our gallery for other screenshots.
