Coming This Week, 07/16/18
Off to Adventure! 07.16.18 - 6:29 PM Hello, RPGFans. Welcome to the most awaited article of the week according to me, the Coming This Week. This week, we have another four games to talk about. All RPGs. All fun stuff. And all stuff I never heard of. Well, that's only true for two of them at least. Let's just talk about them. Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion - PS4, XB1, Switch (July 17th) The longer I work here, the more games I'm surprised we cover. For example, I never thought I'd be talking about an Adventure Time game, but here we are. Well, Jake and Finn seem to have their hands full in this one as they take on pirates in this, I think turn-based RPG. It looks like Adventure Time and seems to have the same humor as the show, so I expect it to be decent. Check out our gallery for it. Hand of Fate 2 - Switch (July 17th) Well, a deck-building RPG. Now I've seen everything. Actually, I wouldn't say a game like this is uncommon, but I'm surprised as to the depth and scope that the game has: multiple deck creation techniques, an action RPG battle and exploration system, and the ability to craft your own adventure. This is pretty insane, and it comes to Switch tomorrow with all of its current DLC too. Check out our gallery and review too. Super Dungeon Tactics - PS4 (July 17th) Going from an action deck-building RPG to a 2.5D tactical RPG, we have Super Dungeon Tactics coming to PS4. It has an interesting graphics style reminiscent of the best of chibi styles. While the game works on a turn-based system, each turn has you fight in an action-based manner. Kind of like XCOM meets Final Fantasy Tactics. Check out our gallery if you are interested. Touhou Genso Wanderer Reloaded - PS4, Switch (July 17th) Hi, Touhou. Let me guess, it's just another bullet hell game and is super hard. Oh, wait, it's a roguelike RPG that takes a bunch of characters from most Touhou games. That's cool. My knowledge of Touhou is pretty limited, but with this and Scarlet Curiosity coming out, it might be a good time to get into the series. Check out our gallery too. Well, that's it for this week. I would talk some more about the amazing games shown but Gino needs to get back to Octopath. Personal first impressions: Music , bis greatattle system is fun, stories are cliched but in a good way. Well, on that note, as always, keep coming back to RPGFan, for the latest, and greatest, of RPG Coverage. Yes, the commas were intentional.
