Hold on to your butts. 07.12.18 - 9:10 PM Capcom has announced that they will be partnering with Pure Imagination Studios to deliver a Monster Hunter 3D animated special. Written by Joshua Fine and made with cutting-edge technology, this CG movie will air in 2019 and be titled "Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild." The 3D animated special, dubbed "Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild," tells the story of a brave young man determined to prove himself as a monster hunter worthy of recognition. His chance will come all too soon when he discovers that his remote village lies in the path of an Elder Dragon—a veritable force of nature made flesh. According to series producer Ryuzo Tsijumoto, Capcom is "thrilled" to have this opportunity to expand on Monster Hunter's lore. "We think die-hard fans will appreciate our dedication to the source material while those uninitiated to the series will still be treated to an epic adventure in a wholly unique world." Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild will finish production this winter and be released sometime in 2019. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more coverage of the Monster Hunter franchise.
