Darksiders III Gets November 27th Release Date for PS4, XB1, and PC

The time has come, horsemen: Darksiders III will be riding onto PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 27th. For fans "whose patience and loyalty is second to none," THQ Nordic and developer Gunfire Games are offering a variety of pre-order bonuses and swanky collector's editions, with exclusive DLC and other Darksiders-themed swag included.

Pre-ordering Darksiders III at participating retailers will net players an exclusive armor set for Fury, altering her base armor in a way that "sets her apart." The FURY Exclusive Armor DLC will be available for download on launch day. Pre-ordering the game online through Steam, GOG, PSN, or XBL will offer a variety of different bonuses, including in-game content and 24-hour early access to Darksiders III. IGN will be rolling out new information on Darksiders III over the course of July, so be on the lookout for that. For now, you can watch a new video introducing Fury's Flame Hollow ability. THQ Nordic has also provided an official synopsis of Darksiders III's plot.

Players return to an apocalyptic planet Earth in Darksiders III, a hack-n-slash action-adventure where players take on the role of FURY in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins. The Charred Council calls upon FURY to battle from the heights of heaven down through the depths of hell in a quest to restore the balance between good and evil and prove that she is the fiercest of the FOUR HORSEMEN. FURY is a mage, her form evolving throughout gameplay and with it, her powers and weaponry. The expansive Darksiders III game world is presented as an open-ended, living, free-form planet Earth, dilapidated by war and decay, and overrun by nature. FURY will traverse back and forth between environments, battling other-worldly creatures and unlocking puzzles while advancing the Darksiders story.
