The backer demo for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is now available, and can be accessed by anyone who pledged at least $60 USD to the game's Kickstarter campaign. According to Koji Igarashi, famed Castlevania producer and head of the Bloodstained project, the backer demo will see protagonist Miriam passing through a ruined village and making her way to the castle via ship. Players will have a chance to sample the item shop and alchemy room, as well as undertake a sidequest, cook food to raise Miriam's stats, and try out brand-new commands against new enemies.
A new story trailer for Ritual of the Night was also released, and you can watch it below. If you missed it earlier, the intrepid Liz Maas wrote a preview of the game for E3 2018, so give that a read as well!
