Hold your fire...there's a dog on the battlefield!

Who thought we were going to get a fourth entry in the Valkyria series? (Revolution? Huh? Never heard of it...nope, never happened). Luckily for us, Sega have delivered. Out now in Japan and in a few short months in the West, Valkyria Chronicles 4 looks like it's taking the best elements from all three main games and combining them to make the best Valkyria game yet.
Darcsens are back. The Valkyria are back. Everything is back. We're even returning to the same war from the first game, but this time it's a different squad and a new perspective, as you attempt to infiltrate the Imperial capital. I got to play through one of the early chapters at this year's E3, so read my Valkyria Chronicles 4 hands-on preview to see if this is looking like a return to form.
Oh, and this game has a dog for a medic. That makes it immediately better than Valkyria: Revolution, right? (See, I'm acknowledging it now!)
