Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Summer is right around the corner as we celebrate Cinco de Mayo! This time last year, we were swimming in so many great new RPGs, and they just kept on coming all year long. This year hasn't been as exciting as the last, but that doesn't mean that we wouldn't be seeing some awesome games later on. After all, E3 is only a month away, and who knows what kind of exciting RPGs we will see there. This week we have news from Peter Triezenberg and Mike Salbato, and reviews from Alana Hagues and Patrick Gann.

The 3DS isn't dead just yet! It seems even with the Nintendo Switch's massive popularity and innovative tech, the 3DS will not call it quits. Etrian Odyssey may be one of the last RPGs on the system, but I doubt it will be the last. Why it is called X, when it's not even close to being the 10th game in the series, the world will never know.

Well, honestly, I have no idea what the Witch and the Hundred Knight is about since I never played the original, but I know someone who has and she also just reviewed the latest sequel in this franchise. Well, with NISA's track record with PC releases, you could have probably seen this one coming. Disgaea 5 will be delayed on PC, but the good news is that a demo is getting released for you to enjoy in the meantime. But for some reason, it's limited to Alienware Arena partners. Come on NISA, get your act together!

SaGa music is so good. Like so, so good. I think it's universally agreed that, no matter what you think of the SaGa series from a gameplay perspective, the music is always top notch. This goes double for Unlimited SaGa, which is a horrible game with a fantastic soundtrack.
