Persona 3 and 5 Dancing Gets New Costumes and Characters
Long article, you gonna be reading it all night. Get it? 04.26.18 - 8:43 PM Atlus has released a bunch of new details for Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night including info on DLC characters, crossover costumes, and new trailers for the main characters. So, let's get into it. Main Characters get the Spotlight! New trailers appeared for each games main protagonist: Persona 3's Makoto Yuki and Persona 5's Ren Amamiya. This also means that the anime names are canon. Sorry Minato Arisato and Akira Kurusu fans. Check them out below: Makoto Yuki: Makoto is taking a break from being the proswagonist and is showing off his endearing side with some sick dance moves. It seems Aigis is enjoying them too. Ren Amamiya: Ren isn't just stealing your heart, he's also stealing the show. He's really looking like a magician dancing as Joker. Ryuji agrees too. DLC Characters are coming from the Arena. It has been confirmed that we are getting DLC characters for both games in the form of Velvet Room Attendants and spin-off characters. Well, those spin-off characters are pictured below with Labrys and Sho Minazuki from Persona 4 Arena. Sho Minazuki: Sho appears with his signature twin blades giving a dance as deadly as it is stunning. Labrys: It looks like the robotic student president got a little less shy and is dancing to her heart's content. Can't wait until her baby sister Aigis sees this. DLC characters don't come alone, as they will include different costumes with each character. Right now, Sho is confirmed to have a costume based on his 2nd player color from Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Bring on the crossovers: Yakuza, Virtua Fighter, Sonic, and Catherine. Sega's acquisition of Atlus is paying off as both Persona 3 and Persona 5 will have costumes based on popular Sega franchises Yakuza and Virtua Fighter. Persona 3 has Makoto dressed as Akira Yuki and Ken as Kagemaru. Man, those names sound familiar. Persona 5 has a Yakuza flair here, check out Ren as Kazuma Kiryu or Ann as Goro Majima. Morgana has his own character stuff. He's going fast as Sonic or could spend some time as Teddie or Aigis. Atlus properties are getting in on the fun too. Check out Makoto and Ann as Katherine McBride and Catherine respectively from Catherine. Well, that's it. Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night will release on May 24th in Japan. No word on a western release yet. Please check out our galleries on both games for the rest of the new screenshots including Sho's costume and a better look at Makoto and Ren.
