Falcom's next major RPG, The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki IV ~The End of Saga~, has obtained some new info and screenshots regarding some of the game's characters. Like before, I will minimize spoilers on these descriptions but please do note that there are still plenty. Today's focus are on the Hexen Clan and former Class VII members.
Huh. No glasses. Emma is a former member of Class VII and a member of the ancient Hexen Clan of witches. After the events of Cold Steel II, she went back to her village to train to become a full-fledge witch and chase after her clan sister, Vita Clotilde. She eventually reunites with Vita and puts asides their differences but it may not be enough for the incoming tragedy.
A mysterious woman who appeared in front of Rean and the new Class VII and leaves words of advice for the Ashen Awakener. In CSIII, it was revealed that she has a connection with the Hexen Clan. She now works with the Gralsritter to help prevent the spread of tragedy throughout the empire.
Vita is the second Anguis of Ouroboros and a member of the Hexen Clan like Emma. After the events of CSII, she disappeared leading to Emma training and searching for her. In CSIII, she started resuming activities on her own, searching for Chancellor Osborne's connection to the Black Workshop. After CSIII, she joins up with the Weissland Resurgence Army with Musee Egret and Aurelia La Guin.
Elliot is a former member of Class VII and the son of the Empire's most formidable general, Olaf Craig. After the events of CSII, he went to music school to become a musician and then spent time travelling the Empire making his debut. In CSIV, Chancellor Osborne proclaimed the National Mobilization Law that puts the military into motion, including Elliot's father. Elliot uses the power of music to try and fight the Imperial calamity.
Machias is a former member of Class VII and the son of the governor of the Imperial capital Heimdallr, Carl Regnitz. After CSII, he attended the Political Science Institute in Heimdallr and found a job at the Judicial Inspection Institute. After the events of CSIII, he is forced into a desperate situation and takes action as a member of the Judicial Inspection Institute to guide the future course of the Empire.
Info about the Hexen Clan was also shared. The Hexen Clan is a group of witches that inherited one of the Sept-Terrion from the goddess Aidios. Witches born to the clan have high spiritual power and can summon familiars. They have the normal lifespan of humans but it's said that the current elder is more than 800 years old. They are located in the hidden village of Erin, a mist-covered village in the southwest part of the empire. Those who do not possess aptitude as a witch will not be able to see the village is there.
The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki (Trails of Cold Steel) IV ~The End of Saga~ will release in Japan this Fall for PS4. No word yet on a western release for it or it's prequel. Check our gallery for new screenshots while you wait.
