Developer Digital Sun and publisher 11 bit studios has announced that their indie action RPG, Moonlighter, will be released in May. This game stars Will, an adventurous shopkeeper that dreams of becoming a hero. When his village of Rynoka had an archaeological excavation nearby that led to discovery of gates to other dimensions, new adventurers flock to search for treasure.
During the day, you spend your time manning your shop, interacting with the villagers, and crafting new equipment for your shop and for your night job. During the night, you spend time exploring different realms and finding loot to build your skills as an adventurer.
The game will be sold as both a standard edition and the limited Signature Edition. The Signature Edition includes a double-sided Medallion from the game, a glossy artwork poster, and a squishy Jelly-Monster doll.
Moonlighter will release on May 29th, 2018 for $19.99 USD on PC (via Steam and GOG), Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, and is coming to Nintendo Switch "soon" as well.
