Sega has announced that the remake of Yakuza 2, Yakuza Kiwami 2, will be released this summer on PS4.
Using the same engine as Yakuza 6, this remake is completely remade with new features such as the return of Yakuza 0's cabaret club, a new story starring rival Goro Majima that takes place between Kiwami 1 and 2, an enhanced localization, and more.
The game will retail for $49.99 USD and first-run copies will have a steelbook featuring series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu and game antagonist Ryuji Goda.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 will release on PS4 on August 28th.
