Week in Review, 11/18/2017
Happy Thanksgiving! 11.18.17 - 9:37 PM That special week that everyone loves is right around the corner: the week where you stuff your face full of turkey and then go shopping for the best deals you can find. There have already been some great deals on some RPGs already, and it will only get better as the week goes on. We'll be sure to let you know of any great deals we run across! In the meantime, we have news stories from Trent Argirov and Chris Gebauer, a review from Dom Kim, and a preview from Rob Rogan! Preview by Rob Rogan Just two weeks left until we can all get our hands on one of the most anticipated RPGs this year. To hold you over, Rob Rogan has written up a nice preview for you to enjoy. It has satisfied me for now, but my anticipation is still growing. And if that's not enough we have been playing through all the Xeno games over on our Twitch channel until release. So if you need that Xeno fix, you know where to go! Story by Trent Argirov Well, it isn't a Trails of Cold Steel III localization announcement, but I am happy with any and all Trails news that comes out. The more people get a chance to play this fantastic series, the more likely we are to get more and more of them. If you haven't had a chance to tackle these games yet, then here is your chance... if the PS4 version ever makes its way over to the west. Story by Chris Gebauer Sega, please don't screw this one up. All we want is another Valkyria game in the spirit of the Chronicles titles. No more terrible action RPGs, just give us some fun turn-based strategy goodness the series was originally known for, and all will be happy and well! Something tells me, however, that this won't be the case. Review by Dom Kim If you have been looking to scratch that visual novel itch, then The Fruit of Grisaia might be what you're looking for. There have been so many good visual novels this year, that I don't think I can keep up with all of them. If you're curious to find out just how good The Fruit of Grisaia is, then checking out Dom Kim's review will help satisfy your curiosity. Story by Chris Gebauer There is not enough time for all these fantastic RPGs coming out, but be sure to make time for this one: Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is set to come out this February. If you never got a chance to play the original, then you're in luck, as this remaster sounds like it will be the definitive version. And that's a wrap for this week. Be sure to check back on the front page for all your RPG news and reviews.
