Square Enix has released a brand-new video showcasing a new type of magic that protagonist Noctis will be able to wield in Final Fantasy XV. Upon obtaining the Ring of the Lucii, Noctis will be able to perform Death magic, draining enemies of their HP and physically deteriorating them the longer the spell is cast. It's pretty gnarly, and you can see it in action by watching the video below. It's also a good opportunity to take in just how good the game looks as we approach its November release!
In other Final Fantasy XV news, Square Enix has launched a 24 hour countdown on their official website, which features an image of a Moogle on a knitted quilt. We'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out what it means, as the countdown will finish on October 5th at 13:00 JST. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more details!
