Final Fantasy TCG Coming to North America and Europe This October

There sure are a lot of collectible card games to choose from nowadays. Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Cardfight: Vanguard, and... Final Fantasy? That's right, the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game will be making its way to North America and Europe on October 28th. There will be three starter decks available at launch, based on Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X, and Final Fantasy XIII, respectively, as well as the first set, entitled Opus I, containing 216 cards.

Each card will come in a common and foil version, and features artwork by famed Final Fantasy artists such as Yoshitaka Amano and Tetsuya Nomura, among others. Square is also releasing a series of videos explaining how to play the game, the first of which you can check out below.
