During the most recent Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that the 3DS version of Dragoon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King won't be making its previously stated 2016 release date, but will instead be released in 2017. While this is unfortunate news, Nintendo was quick to point out that Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past is still on track for September 16th. With all of the RPGs coming out this year, perhaps a massive game like Dragon Quest VIII could use the additional breathing room.
