Final Fantasy XV Officially Delayed Until November 29th
Well, guess it wasn't a rumor after all. 08.15.16 - 5:03 AM Rumors sparked this weekend about the possible delay of Final Fantasy XV and reports have come out that confirm it to be true. In a press release today, Square Enix has stated the new release date is to allow the development team time to further polish and test the game in order for it to meet both fan and developer expectations. Hajime Tabata also included his own comment in the press release stating: "From the moment we joined this project, our vision was to create a level of freedom and realism previously unseen in the series. Regrettably, we need a little bit more time to deliver on this vision and are confident that this new release date will help us achieve this; As the director and lead of this project, I wish to personally apologize for the additional wait. As a team, we want Final Fantasy XV to achieve a level of perfection that our fans deserve. We kindly ask for your understanding." Final Fantasy XV is set for release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 29th barring any more delays.
