Just in case you forgot about the 3DS games.

The world is doing an awesome impression of the late 90's right now, except instead of playing Pokémon on a giant grey brick (well, I actually had a Game Boy Pocket), everyone is currently catching them all on their phones. Oh, you noticed? Well, Niantic's mobile AR variant of the franchise is slowly taking over theworld , and Pokémon Go is even boosting revenue for businesses like Gamestop. Amidst this new found Pokémania sweeping the world, one could forget that Pokémon Go isn't the only game in the franchise releasing this year.
That's right! Pokémon Sun and Moon release later this year in November, and according to an image on the Pokémon Japanese site, new information regarding the upcoming 3DS titles will arrive on August 1st 6am PST (9am EST).
We have no idea what will be divulged in the info update, but it is safe to assume there will be either new Pokémon or new game mechanics revealed...or maybe both. Either way, it will continue to stoke the fires of the Poké revolution. To ease the pain of the wait for August, check out the recent reveal of six new Pokémon below:
Pokémon Sun and Moon will release on November 18th for 3DS.
