Check Out Falcom's Enhanced Edition for Tokyo Xanadu
More story, new playable character, and more. 06.28.16 - 11:44 AM Falcom recently announced an enhanced version of their PlayStation Vita RPG Tokyo Xanadu, entitled Tokyo Xanadu eX+, which will be coming to PlayStation 4 in Japan this September. Following the success of the Vita version (which sold around 150,000 units), Tokyo Xanadu eX+ will be bringing full HD visuals running at 60 FPS to the table, along with a host of other enhancements and additional content. The biggest addition is probably the new "After Story" that takes place after the storyline of the original game, as well as new Side Stories that tell the story from perspectives other than that of protagonist Kou. A new playable character, White Shroud, has also been added. He's a mysterious knight associated with a new faction known as the "Holy Spirit Church." He is powerful in all skill types, making him a well-rounded character, and even comes with his own unique attribute, Light. Tokyo Xanadu eX+ will also be adding a Time Attack and Boss Rush mode, alongside new dungeons, Greed enemies and Elder Greed bosses, and a Calamity difficulty setting. It's shaping up to be an impressive package, so hopefully somebody (XSEED, perhaps?) picks it up for localization. Until then, the game will be out in Japan on September 8th.
