Summon Night 6 Coming to PS4 and Vita in the West
Gaijinworks is thirsty, and so are we. 06.09.16 - 7:57 PM Gaijinworks announced that they will be bringing Summon Night 6: Lost Borders for PlayStation 4 and Vita to the West. The company, made up of ex-Working Designs personnel, previously brought over Summon Night 5 for the PSP, so it's great to see them continue their localization of the venerable strategy-RPG series. "The thirst for Japanese RPGs is real, and we're beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to quench it with such a high-profile, blue-chip JRPG experience," says Gaijinworks president Victor Ireland. "Summon Night 6 is one of our biggest projects to date. It has enough text to fill about five novels—over 50% more than the huge volume of text that Summon Night 5 had." Summon Night 6's lengthy tale has multiple endings, including sub-endings that can change based on a player's affinity with different characters. This is also the first fully HD entry in the series, serving as a celebration of Summon Night's 15th anniversary. We'll keep you posted as we learn more about Summon Night 6. The game is set to release in the first quarter of 2017. In the meantime, you can take a look at some new media in our gallery, linked below.
