Next Zelda Delayed to 2017, Coming to Wii U and NX
None of this is terribly surprising.

The next entry in the The Legend of Zelda series, previously a Wii U exclusive, will now be launching simultaneously for both the Wii U and Nintendo's upcoming NX platform. The game has also been delayed from its previously stated 2016 window to 2017, probably to coincide with the NX's launch. Nintendo cites "further quality improvements" as the reason for the delay, but as a bonus, they also released this snazzy new piece of art.
It also sounds like the new Zelda will be "the focus" of Nintendo's E3 presence this year, and will be their only playable game on the showfloor. We'll keep you posted as we draw nearer to the event.
