Field Test Sign-Ups Now Open For Pokémon Go
This is as close as you may get to being a true-blue Pokémon Master.

If you were hoping for more news on Pokémon Go at the recent Pokémon Direct that revealed Pokémon Sun and Moon, you may have walked away a tad disappointed (but just a tad). Well, fear not, this mobile experiment hasn't been forgotten. In fact, Niantic Labs has opened sign-ups for the official field test in Japan. Signing up requires a Google account, on a device with Android 4.3 or higher, or iPhone 5 or higher. Sign-ups are only available in Japan, so if you live elsewhere and you can't somehow figure out a proxy, you're SOL.
