Square Enix just revealed that Final Fantasy IX is getting a re-release on PC, thereby completing the trio of mainline PS1 entries in the series. It's also getting a mobile port for Android and iPhone. This new version of Final Fantasy IX will come enhanced with high-definition visuals and the same "boost" functions that were in the Final Fantasy VII port, including the option to turn off random encounters and "max Gil," along with achievements, auto-saving, and a high-speed mode. I know we're all excited to journey with Zidane and company again, but for now, check out the announcement trailer below!
