Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 Gets New Jump Fiesta Trailer
The life of a monster master must be awfully exciting.

Continuing the massive amount of new media Square offered at this year's Jump Fiesta, we have a brand-new cinematic trailer for the upcoming next installment in the Dragon Quest Monsters series, Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3. Give it a look below.

In addition, there is some new information on the protagonist's abilities. He is able to trigger a "Scout Attack" as a monster master, which allows his monster companions to utilize his power in a special attack on the opponent in battle. If successful, you will be able to recruit the enemy monster as an ally. The likelihood of successfully recruiting a monster is indicated by an on-screen gauge. The scout gauge will rise more easily by effectively using "Strategy commands" effectively in battle, such as ordering your monsters to "Accumulate Tension."

Monsters will be able to learn additional skills as they level up, and allocate skill points to power up those moves and gain new ones. For instance, by increasing a Dragon Kid's "Drago Force" skill, you'll learn a powerful breath attack, or have it attack more quickly in battle by enhancing its "Speed +1" effect. Monsters can also equip accessories. There are over 500 monsters in the game, including Needleman and Witch Greichel from Dragon Quest X, along with Besking and Grand Caesar from Dragon Quest: Monster Parade. Also, during their livestream, Square revealed the game's cover artwork.
