Pandora's Tower, an action-RPG developed by Ganbarion for the Wii, was one of the three games made famous by the Operation Rainfall campaign. While our Retro Encounter crew gets ready to discuss The Last Story, interested parties can now give Pandora's Tower a shot by downloading it from the Wii U eShop.
In Pandora's Tower, you play as Aeron, a man who scales thirteen towers trying to find a cure for his lover Elena, who suffers from a strange affliction. The game's ending is directly influenced by the bond the player is able to forge with Elena through various actions, an interesting mechanic that provides the emotional center to the more conventional dungeon-crawling main game.
