Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night recently wrapped up its record-setting Kickstarter campaign, and according to lead designer Koji Igarashi, will have over 1600 rooms for the player to explore. This is roughly 1.5 times larger than Igarashi's own Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (inverted castle notwithstanding), a pinnacle of the Metroidvania genre that Bloodstained is being billed as a spiritual successor to.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night could potentially end up being the largest Metroidvania game to date. It will be released on PlayStation 4, Vita, PC, Xbox One, and Wii U.
