The Disgaea Triple Collection, available now in Europe, is on its way to North America as well. This PlayStation 3 compilation contains Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice, Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten, and Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness, and will be out September 15th.
In other Disgaea news, NIS America released some new details concerning Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance, due out a month after the Disgaea Triple Collection. While reassuring fans that the core Disgaea gameplay features would return intact, NIS also mentioned a trio of new mechanics. The first of these, Alliance Attacks, is built upon the Team Attacks concept, letting characters partner up with a specific character to inflict massive damage. Revenge Mode allows you to power up characters when their allies take damage or are defeated. Last but not least, there are Overloads, over-the-top skills for Overlords who have entered Revenge Mode.
Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance is coming to PlayStation 4 in North America on October 6th, and October 9th in Europe.
