Fire Emblem Fates recently saw its Japanese release, with two versions—White Night Kingdom and Dark Knight Kingdom, which will be known as Birthright and Conquest when the games make their Western debut. A third scenario, titled Invisible Kingdom is now out in Japan via the Nintendo eShop, which sees the protagonist choosing to side with neither kingdom and instead try to unite them against a greater threat. Sounds interesting! Check out the debut trailer below.

In other Fire Emblem news, using a Super Smash Bros. amiibo of Marth, Ike, Lucina, or Robin at your My Castle plaza will result in some humorous, fourth-wall breaking dialogue that references the many battles they fought in Smash. Not sure how relevant it all is anymore, since everybody's playing as Roy now (or so I assume), but it is kind of amusing to hear Ike talking about "getting launched." Here's hoping we see some of these references when Fire Emblem Fates comes out in the West next year.
