The first entry in the Mana series may be getting a new follow-up.

The original Final Fantasy Adventure, or Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden as it was known in Japan, was an action-RPG for the Game Boy that ended up kicking off one of Square's signature franchises, the Mana series. Now, a new trailer showing a Final Fantasy Adventure-themed quest for mobile title Rise of Mana reveals that a new project has just entered production.
The trailer features a collaboration quest featuring the villains from the first game in Rise of Mana, before showing a screen announcing the new Final Fantasy Adventure project. Could this be another remake, a la Sword of Mana, or an entirely new title? Further details, such as platform or even an official title, have yet to be announced, although it is refreshing to see something related to the Mana series nowadays. We'll keep you posted as we learn more.
