Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae 2.0 Update Available
Gameplay fixes based on player feedback are being implemented. And you can fight the water dinosaur! 06.11.15 - 2:33 AM Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae came with first-print copies of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD to give players a taste of what they can expect from the long-awaited next numbered entry in the Final Fantasy series. The demo has now been updated with improvements and alterations based on player feedback. First and foremost, a number of defensive actions, such as guarding and evading enemy attacks, no longer consume MP. Noctis' primary evasive maneuver has been changed from a somewhat ineffective teleport dodge to a dodge roll, which can be shifted into while in the middle of other actions. This, combined with more warp locations, the ability to charge great sword attacks and warps by holding down buttons for a certain period of time, and improved lock-on and targeting should make combat in Episode Duscae a much improved experience. Plus, in addition to new quests suggested by party members, now you can fight the Catoblepass (i.e. those water dinosaur things that were in the lake). They'll likely curbstomp you, but it's the principle of the thing.
